Hong Drone III

Acrylic painting on canvas

Project details

Hong Drone III arises from an aerial observation of Hong Kong. It is the last part of Hong Drone series. The artist takes saturated and contaminated cities, places that have become anodyne and overcrowded over the years, and he embellishes them with vivid colors.
Color is used here as a symbol of beauty and diversity, in opposition to the functionality and consistency of today’s big cities.
Hong Drone I and Hong Drone II were exhibited in the Artexpo New York 2017. Currently, Hong Drone I is part of the funds of the Queensborough Community College Museum of New York.
Hong Drone III was exhibited in the “Primer Encuentro Internacional de Arte de América Latina y España” in the Athenaeum of Madrid in September 2017.
