The House of the Nuns hosts the main Cultural Center of the City of Cenicero, La Rioja. This building is one of the three most important palaces of the city and it dates from the 18th century, the time of the greatest palatial richness. It is located in front of the Church of San Martín. The great main door has a mixtilinear molding decorated with curved shapes, and it follows the ornamental profusion style of the constructions of that time. There is a window at the right of the door, above which there is a balcony with a molding with knuckles and a greatly refined corbel. At its sides, there is a 17th century coat of arms and another window, where is resting the big corbel of the upper floor balconies.
