La collares

Carmen PoIo (1978) by Enrique Naya (Costus).

This work was presented in the exhibition “El chochonismo ilustrado”.

It shows the culmination of Enrique in this style, which was already seen in the paintings of “National Architectures and other monuments”, and reached its best with the portraits of the “Milky Way”.

Perhaps this is the most representative work of Spanish Pop and without a doubt it is very special since the painting exudes irony and a fine sense of humor.

The work currently belongs to the ICO collection and as part of it, has traveled to Spanish art exhibitions in various parts of the world.
