This awesome hybrid elephant-octopus is an artwork by Puerto Rican muralist, illustrator and artist Alexis Diaz.

Comprised of thousands of tiny brushstrokes and, after a crazy week worth of work, Diaz has finally completed his cross hatched street art elephant mural mashed up with an octopus.

Díaz is one-half of art collective La Pandilla along with fellow artist Juan Fernández.

This beautiful Elephant-Octopus is located at Hanbury Street off Brick Lane (East London).

It has just covered the wall made in November 2012 by Liliwenn and Bom-K. Street art is an ephemeral art, especially in this hot spot of London’s East End street art, where the walls are regularly updated by new works, all more beautiful than the others.
