Oculus Station, NY
In my trip to New York, I couldn’t miss the opportunity to visit “The Oculus”. It’s designed by Spanish architect Santiago Calatrava and it’s located at the World Trade Center of New York City. The construction costs were around four million dollars, so it’s the most expensive metro station of the world. It’s formed with white “ribs” that intertwine well above the ground. Apart from being a station, there is inside the Westfield World Trade Center Mall. The station received mixed reviews: although the center was praised for its design, it was also criticized for its high costs, long delays and even for leaking problems.
