Each of us is a small-scale universe. In us, there are multiple dimensions: the physical, the emotional, the mental and even the soul dimension.
All these are dimensions of our little universe. They are not separated, but coexist in the same space.
According to the degree of development of our consciousness we will have greater capacity to perceive or experience them.
This makes the human being an infinite being, highly difficult to understand or equalize.
The concept of multidimensionality can also be applied to everyday life. In any space there are many different realities, superimposed one on the other. Although we only perceive the physical reality in which we are tuned.
Multidimensional is part of an experimental project of conceptual portraits carried out with the collaboration of photographer Pablo Peña, and on which we have been working for several years.
This artwork belongs to “Human Feelings” collection. It is an open series of conceptual portraits.
It is a work that combines body painting, collage and digital edition of the image through several filters and digital actions.
Many people would say that visual art is any kind of art, and that this kind of pieces should be included in digital art or new media. But in our method of work, we use photography, body painting, creative lighting and digital postproduction among other elements, so we like to run away from the conventional tags and call it visual art.
