Shanghai Kolor is an acrylic painting on canvas.
It is mounted on a 4 cm thick wooden stretcher.
The sides are painted black so it can be displayed without a frame
The painting is protected with two coats of matt varnish.
The images show the view of the painting under white light and UV light.
Shanghai Kolor arises from the view from SWFC Building in Shanghai City. In this artwork, my challenge is to reflect the message of diversity through color. This message is always the source of inspiration for my art. But this time, perhaps, it was something more challenging since I had to face a nocturnal image. Night is that territory in which everything is more shiny. But also, it is a place where the shadows are gray and lifeless. It has been a hard work of lighting and shading that I am very proud of. Sure you will be in shock when you see it in person.
