Summertime

Carmen del Campillo, Crevillente, Spain

In Guardamar del Segura on summertime…

It’s always a pleasure having tea with pastries in the Moorish palace Carmen del Campillo in Crevillente, with Mrs. Patricia Aldeguer.

Carmen del Campillo is a very special place, perfect for an afternoon or for a drink at night. It is highly recommended to have a drink with friends or tourists who ask about places to visit.

It is a Moorish house with a thousand and one corners to get lost in, beautiful, full of fountains and vegetation, and decorated with hundreds of candles at night.

A very special space to rest the soul and relax the spirit.

Summertime and the livin’ is easy
Fish are jumpin’ and the cotton is high
Oh, your daddy’s rich and your ma is good-lookin’
So hush little baby, don’t you cry

One of these mornings
You’re gonna rise up singing
Yes you’ll spread your wings
And you’ll take to the sky
But ’til that morning
There ain’t nothin’ can harm you
With Daddy and Mammy standin’ by

Summertime, and the livin’ is easy
Fish are jumpin’ and the cotton is high
Oh, your daddy’s rich and your ma is good-lookin’
So hush little baby, don’t you cry
