This week I feel a bit nostalgic and, taking advantage of the fact that today is World Television Day, I share with you the color test card that was broadcasted in Spain when I was a child.

It was a way to adjust the running and color television controls, and it was called here “carta de ajuste“.

World Television Day is celebrated on November 21. In December 17, 1996 the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed 21 November as World Television Day commemorating the date on which the first World Television Forum was held in 1996.

The objective is to promote the global exchange of programs on peace, security, economic development and social and cultural issues.
